BEHAVIORAL CONSULTANT/BCBA

A Behavioral consultant's primary responsibility is training families and staff in the design and implementation of quality and effective behavior management programs. Consultant's must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal and time-management skills, proficiency with writing and communication, and good problem-solving skills.


An ideal candidate will:


  • Have passed the BCBA exam
  • Have at least 6 months experience supervising ABA programs
  • Be able to pass a background check and have reliable transportation. 
  • Be open to feedback and learning how to implement quality, flexible implementation of ABA strategies.


Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans based upon functional behavior assessments. 
  • Training parents and staff in implementation of treatment plans.
  • Providing programmatic recommendations based upon objective data
  • Complete progress reports, behavior plans, etc. in a timely manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and supervision.

BEHAVIOR THERAPIST

A Behavioral therapist provides 1:1 ABA interventions for children and adolescents with Autism and other developmental disabilities in home and school locations. Behavior therapists receive high levels of supervision by BCBA level staff. 


An ideal candidate will:

  • Have at least 6 months experience implementing ABA.
  • Be able to pass a background check and have reliable transportation
  • RBT preferred but not required; must be willing to sit for RBT if needed
  • Creative, fun, engaging personality
  • Responsible and good communication skills
  • Accept feedback and desire to continually improve skills.
