Often, the difference between children with autism being successful in a mainstream classroom has everything to do with the quality of their supports. High functioning children with Autism or Asperger's often do not qualify for 1:1 supports, but do not have the skills necessary to be successful. CBC staff work with children in public and private classrooms to provide ABA based 1:1 intervention so that children can be successful. These supports focus on:
